There was a one minute silence observed at 09.15 to remember the lives lost in Aberfan, 60 years ago.
Absolutely sodden from the start, then the temperature dropped to chill the wind …birds ran on in front all day. Have to say, they flew much better than I expected after the pummelling they’ve had for the past 24 hours.
Guns shot well in the cold and there was some excellent dog work.
Luck played its part, as ever …
Roddy and Joe came around with us from the Estate with Keeper Jason and Ian.
