Kintbury Gundog Club held a Novice A/V Retriever Field Trial at Savernake Forest, Marlborough, Wiltshire today 29th October 2026 which was a great success. The weather helped make it a success by almost staying dry and the sun came out late morning.
Thank you to the Gamekeeper Paul Howard and his team, good shots and beaters.
The ground was very testing for the retrievers as it was a walked up in the woods with a lot of cover,
A huge thank you to the judges John Stubbs, Martin Bagg, Adrian Moodie and Patti Money-Coutts whose expertise and fairness was evident in giving a very positive result.
Thank you also goes to the competitors and the Gallery who enjoyed the day.
A Big thank you to the helpers without whom it would not have happened!
